Skinwalker is a crime thriller/psychological horror quest mod for Fallout New Vegas revolving around a serial killer that has been silently preying on children for years.
Inspired by classics like Silence of the Lambs, Along Came A Spider, Seven and, more recently, Longlegs, this is a narrative-heavy mod with a single, relatively lengthy quest focused on the investigation and building atmosphere.
To begin, head to the Old Mormon Fort in Freeside and look around for Alejandra.
Major content warning but to be clear, there's nothing explicit or gross. It's all conveyed through subtext and implication. Developed in 2024.

Is there a continuation of the story after the explosion at the fort and receiving the mysterious note?
No, that's the end. New Vegas doesn't have a native function to check for whether notes have been read, that was only added in Skyrim onwards.
Where you load in and Alejandra gives you the note, there's a trigger that completes the quest after you open up your Pip-Boy to read it but if players move outside it, there's not much I can do.
Loved this one. The scripting at the end was a surprise, too.
