Sorry i never got to read this mod's page on nexus so im pretty puzzled as to how this works, does this mod replace the main quest or does it add a side story that originates from a certain point and ends independently from the vanilla main quest, without replacing vanilla content?

Side story. You can still optionally pick up the Dragonborn MQ by speaking with Balgruuf which leads into the Dragonstone quest.
